This article explains how to recover files from a RAID array using Recuva.
First, ensure that all RAID array disks are connected to the computer. If it's an external RAID array, connect it to the computer via USB or another appropriate interface.
Launch Recuva. In the initial window, select the Next option. Now you need to select the type of files you want to recover. You can choose a specific type of files, such as images, documents, videos, or select All files to attempt to recover all possible data.
Next, Recuva will prompt you to choose the location where the files were before deletion. Since you are working with a RAID array, select the In a specific location option and specify the path to the RAID array. If you are unsure where the files were, you can select I'm not sure, and Recuva will scan all available disks.
After that, click Start, and the program will start scanning the selected location. This process may take some time, depending on the size of the RAID array and the number of files.
When the scan is complete, Recuva will display a list of found files. The files will be displayed with their status: Excellent, Good, Poor, or Unrecoverable.
Select the files you want to recover by checking the boxes next to them, and click Recover. Recuva will prompt you to choose a location to save the files.
Once you have chosen the save location, click OK, and Recuva will start the recovery process. After the recovery is complete, check the recovered files to ensure they were successfully restored.
